Hello Andrea @alsoarty and thank you for your research I had already tried these two software:- for the Breeze Preset viewer Mac version I have a message the software is damaged and cannot be opened "on the developer's site; only the windows version is there but it's really a shame because it responds completely what I'm looking for!As for brush Pilot, the download sends us to a German site that has nothing to do with Brush Pilot!I think I will give up on this idea, I tried Bridge without success!Thank you again Andrea for looking into my research
I am looking for a visual reference for each .abr file I have created. I am on a mac, so ABRViewer is not available to me. But what abrviewer does is exactly what I'm looking for. BrushView QuickLook used to work in Photoshop but is not compatible with Catalina.
Abr Viewer Mac
If you are seeking merely to preview the brush tips in the .abr file.. there are many small freeware or shareware applications to do that for Windows or The MacOS. A simply internet search for "abr viewer [insert OS]" will turn them up.
To open and use the ABR files in programs other than Photoshop, you must convert the files to PNG format using a tool like ABRviewer. Download ABRviewer and select File > Open brush sets > Open > choose the file > Export > Thumbnails. You might also have luck opening ABR files directly in GIMP without converting them to PNG.
Windows users have been able to do it with the ABR viewer for long time but it has been not available for Mac users, but finally, thanks to Robert Redwood, we can finally download Mac and Linux version from easyelements for free.
This is good information to know because most of the people that I know use Mac computers and those computers are better for making graphics or videos. It is great that they found a way to use ABR viewer. 2ff7e9595c
